SOCIAL STUDIES-OTHER EVENTS

The Bahrain School Social Studies department upholds the rigorous and comprehensive DoDDS standards, including them in weekly lesson plans.  They are a key feature of the department curriculum.

The Bahrain School Social Studies department hosts a variety of learning venues to include a Model United Nations program (BAHMUN), the TradeQuest investment simulation, the Mayflower middle school project, stimulating role-play activities, in-class debate sessions, and many other interactive instructional methods.

Bahrain School students in the TradeQuest investment simulation won First Place in Bahrain due to their wise management of a $4 million portfolio.
